Dispute on X Post Over Easter
Very amusing for the flamers out there: I recently posted a simple short post on X on Easter day to the effect that Easter was a pagan holiday usurped by Christians. Seemed a simple statement of fact to me, easily proven by ancient documents n authorities on myth n religion.
However, a few Christians (here Xers for short) decided to take offense at my minor observation n launch a flame war against Equus. Nothing better to do with their time, I suppose. Last count on that post: 49,000 views; 18 likes (mostly pagans I’m sure); 8 shares; n 66 comments (mostly Xers I presume). Suddenly it appears Equus is dinner table conversation in a number of homes. I was even accused of being a supporter of Kamala n AOC! Altho I have a delete sign on a picture of Kamala on the back of my car, n I campaigned for Trump, n I have repeatedly called for the conviction of AOC for immigration fraud n her deportation. It seems critics on X don’t bother investigating anyone before they hurl accusations n leap to conclusions.
But then I didn’t expect any different. The evidence for Xers usurping pagan holidays–after slaughtering 1000s of pagans n destroying 100s of pagan temples n defacing their statues n burning their libraries in a 4th century Jihad–is massive enough to fill libraries. These facts won’t be accepted from me, of course, so no point in trying.
Still, as they say: any publicity is good publicity so long as they spell your name right. And Equus just got more exposure than a dozen paid ads. Keep up the good work, Xers!
